Sailing season - When to charter in St. George's?
Visiting St. George's between the months of June and September means facing the risk that the hurricane season brings. All but the most experienced seamen try to avoid the Caribbean during this time. St. George is popular from November to February because during the winter the air temperatures are several degrees lower, about 25 degrees Celsius. Besides this small margin, air temperatures are surprisingly stable in the Caribbean all year long, holding steady at about 27 degrees. But visiting in winter has its downsides, because most sailors tend to come during this time, so prices of accommodations are high and berths are reserved several months in advance.
