If the hectic life of today takes its toll on you, it’s perfectly normal, to once in a while, take a break from the daily activities and just drown yourself in peace and serenity. A cruise on sea is the perfect choice that takes you away from the rest of the world, lets you spend quality time with your family and close friends and lets you be your true self. Importantly, once inside the yacht you will entirely forget that you are not on the land. The well-equipped cabins and lavish interiors will completely ensure you that you are never out of touch with the modernity of urban life.
THE DECK AND COCKPIT
The midsize production yacht is built on two lines of sailboats. This new series of Bavaria Cruiser 41 has a lot of style and has been designed specifically to keep your privacy at high level, without jeopardizing your comfort. The overall scenario on the yacht gives you and your family a pleasant comfort of a second home with all the amenities and modern lifestyle equipment. The cockpit area is quite beamy, resembling that of contemporary production cruisers with its standard features.
These include a drop-down transom, a boarding platform, twin wheels and a wide swim platform keeping up with the traditional layouts and accommodations that wholesome family cruising boats offer. There is a split backstay that really offers more space to the area. Visible from the helm is a central cockpit table that can be used as a mount for the Garmin chart plotter and beneath each of the cockpit benches, big-size lockers are also present.
The entire reefing lines and the halyards of this Bavaria Cruiser 41 lead to the top of the cabin and almost everything here is organized and managed through the Spinlock rope clutches banks.
All the hardware including the rigging, a deck-stepped Selden spar with furling main and a solid boom vang are of high quality. The yacht consists of double spreaders swept apt to form tight sheeting angles. Located on the cabin, these make sure that the side decks are kept free from the burden.
THE INTERIOR
The Bavaria Cruiser 41 sailboat’s entrance has fixed, swinging doors and windows with an overhead hatch made of clear Plexiglas. As entering the main saloon with the five-step ladder, just at the end of the stairwell, to the port side, you’ll find an enclosed, large head that is located exactly opposite a proper navigation station where you can sit and plan your course in a free spirit.
On the port side, there is a straight-line galley with an oven, a three-burner stove and double sinks with handy covers. This galley offers room for almost everything that a family always requires. With its 147 liters’ refrigerator, the extra 29 liters in the freezer, a lot of storage space for supplies, cooking utensils and many other small thing, it makes you feel as if you are home at your own full sized kitchen. On the starboard side you will find a long U-shaped settee wraps circling the generous dining table with an island seat located in the middle of the cruiser.
THE CABINS
The owner’s cabin is placed in the bow and it comprises of a double berth, lots of storage space along with a bench seat for dressing. The master bedroom on the cruiser is the biggest in its class with a comfortable and spacious compartment and its own toilet and shower.
Other cabins are also spacious to make you feel as if it is a hotel room that you have rented. All the cabins are bright and cozy with large windows and several skylights that allow passage of pleasant natural light.
BUILD QUALITY
The team of engineers, boat builders and designers had ensured that all the details that can make life on the sailboat comfortable, are a part of the Bavaria Cruiser 41. A huge table, lots of elegant solid wood as well as LED ambient lighting creates a beautiful ambiance. The skylight windows and large side windows provide an alluring visual and abundance of natural light.
The German engineering ensures you’ll get a feel of several rooms in just one room with its large space and open plan. The Cruiser 41 hull and deck have hand-laid laminates, a polyester resin and E-glass reinforcements with a protective vinylester resin outer layer. The high-load areas have been balanced with special reinforcement whereas the other parts of the laminate are covered with coremat and PVC foam.
A one-piece E-glass liner is present below the waterline and is bonded with the hull. The area above the waterline is given proper strength and support with the help of interior components. The even dispersion of loads is made possible by bolting the iron keel directly to the grid.
